to my request this time. If it refuses to sanction the advance

it will inflict a very great hardship on myself, and more

especially on my four youngest children, three of whom are

attending University College, Galway, and the youngest a

Preparatory School. The four of them will be compelled to

abandon their intended careers in Medicine, Chemistry, and

Commerce.
